Agricultural Land and Open-Area Security by Drone

Open farmland, farms and kibbutzim are hard to secure from the ground: they are large, isolated and exposed to theft and night intrusion. A drone with a thermal camera scans a large area quickly, detects a person or vehicle in total darkness, and alerts in time to respond.

How it works

Why fixed cameras are not enough for an open area

Open farmland has no walls and no clear perimeter, and the distances are too large for fixed cameras. Even dozens of cameras leave dead zones. A mobile drone scans the whole area from the air, moves from point to point in minutes, and reaches exactly the area an alert came from, instead of hoping a fixed camera caught the right angle.

Thermal night patrol and intrusion detection

Most theft and intrusion happens in the dark. A thermal camera on a drone detects the heat signature of a person or vehicle in total darkness, in fog and through vegetation, far beyond what a regular camera sees. Thermal night patrol is the most effective tool for protecting an open area, and it is available only under a CAA special operation authorisation for night flight.

Protecting equipment, crops and livestock

Farmland has plenty to steal: equipment and tools, crops, irrigation systems and livestock. A drone patrol deters, detects intrusion early and provides documentation for the incident and a police report. For kibbutzim, moshavim and large farms, it is a protection layer that covers exactly what is hard to secure from the ground.

What you receive

  • Night patrol with a thermal camera
  • Detection of a person or vehicle in total darkness
  • Fast coverage of large open areas
  • Real-time alert to the control room or landowner
  • Documentation for the incident and a police report

Frequently asked questions

Yes. A drone scans dozens of dunams in a single flight and moves between areas in minutes, coverage you cannot achieve with fixed cameras on open land. Large projects can combine several flights or an autonomous system.
