Autonomous Security Drone (Drone-in-a-Box)

An autonomous drone-in-a-box system that launches, flies a route, lands and recharges on its own, with no pilot on site. 24/7 coverage for large and isolated sites, with a thermal camera, alert-triggered launch and AI that detects anomalies in real time.

How it works

How a drone-in-a-box works

The drone lives inside a sealed docking station on site. By schedule or in response to an alert it launches on its own, flies a defined route, collects video and data, returns to the station, lands and recharges, all without a pilot physically on site. You get consistent patrol that does not depend on a guard's availability.

24/7 coverage and integration with a control room and AI

The big advantage is constant availability. The system operates day and night, streams live video to the control room, and an AI system analyzes the picture and detects anomalies, such as a person or vehicle in a restricted area, and alerts in real time. Instead of a guard scanning screens, the system flags only what needs attention.

What is required by regulation: special operation authorisation for BVLOS and night flight

An autonomous system usually flies beyond a human operator's line of sight, so it requires a CAA special operation authorisation for BVLOS, and sometimes a further authorisation for night flight plus airspace coordination. This is not an operation anyone can set up. We connect you to licensed integrators who handle the authorisations and end-to-end integration.

What you receive

  • Automatic launch by schedule or alert
  • Thermal and optical camera with zoom
  • AI-based anomaly detection
  • Live video streaming to the control room
  • 24/7 operation including night, with no pilot on site

Frequently asked questions

The drone launches, flies, lands and recharges automatically with no pilot on site, but operation is subject to remote oversight by a licensed operator, a special operation authorisation for BVLOS, and Israel's airspace rules. The autonomy is operational, not regulatory.
