לקראת אירועי האירוויזיון, משטרת ישראל מבקשת לחדד כי על פי חוק הטיס, התקנות והכללים שנקבעו, הטסת
רחפנים
אסורה בהחלט במתחמים בהם מתקיימים אירועי האירוויזיון. משטרת ישראל פועלת בטכנולוגיות סמויות וגלויות על מנת למנוע הטסת רחפנים במתחמים האמורים ובאזורים הסמוכים.
הטסת רחפנים באזורים האסורים לטיסה מהווה עבירה פלילית על כל המשתמע מכך. הנחייה זו תקפה בין התאריכים 12-19 במאי 2019.
האזורים האסורים לטיסה בתל אביב בתקופת האירווזיון (לפי רדיוס):
- מרכז הירידים - גני התערוכה: רדיוס של 1600 מטרים אסורים לטיסה
- הבימה: רדיוס של 1200 מטרים אסורים לטיסה
- גן צ'ארלס קלור: רדיוס של 1200 מטרים אסורים לטיסה
