חברת Blighter Surveillianve System הבריטית, המפתחת מערכת לשיבוש סיגנלים של רחפנים, קיבלה אור ירוק לבדיקות בשדות תעופה ברחבי ארה"ב. מנהל התעופה האמריקאי עושה מאמצים על מנת לאתר ולהרחיק רחפנים וכלים לא מאויישים אחרים משדות התעופה ומאיזורי טיסה רגישים.

כמות מכירות הרחפנים, שזינקה במהלך 2015, רק חיזקו את הצורך בפיתוח מערכת כזאת וכרגע אף נראה כי בשנת 2016 יהיה גידול נוסף במכירות. למעשה , 3 חברות בריטיות פיתחו ביחד את הציוד חדש לשיבוש טיסה של רחפנים ומצפות להמשך בדיקות וניסויים של הטכנולוגיה בזמן אמת ולא בניסוי מעבדה או שדה ניסויים מבוקר.
