Global Market Access
When a buyer abroad searches for you in English, what do they find
The Israeli market is too small to contain a growing drone company. But the gap between excellent technology and selling abroad is almost never a technology gap. It is a gap of positioning, visibility and connections. That is where we come in.
The real gap is not the technology
More than ninety drone companies operate in Israel, and they have raised hundreds of millions of dollars. The defence and military background here produces technology that is hard to compete with. And yet, when a buyer, investor or potential partner abroad looks up an Israeli company in English, they usually find a thin website, very little independent material, and a story written for someone who already knows the field. The technical story that impresses in Israel simply does not land the same way abroad.
What actually blocks you, and what we do not claim to solve
Two hard barriers face an Israeli drone company heading outward, and it is worth knowing about them in advance. The first is certification: there is no unified global regulatory framework, and an FAA approval is not an EASA approval. Every aviation authority has built its own regime, so parallel, expensive and slow certification processes are required. The second is Israeli defence export control, which has to be handled from the very first step so it does not block you later. We map both of these for you and connect you to the people who handle them, but we do not perform them ourselves and we will not present it otherwise.
The Israel question: asset or friction
Israeli origin is not a neutral detail in the global market. In some markets, particularly anything touching security and safety, a track record with the IDF and defence bodies is proof of maturity that accelerates a sale. In others it creates sensitivity, procurement questions and sometimes barriers. The common mistake is telling the same story everywhere. Part of the work here is deciding when that background belongs in the foreground and when it belongs in the background.
What we have that others do not
Two things. The first is Isradrone's English side, which is where Israel's drone industry is documented for an international audience, so we know how you look from the outside to someone searching for you. The second matters more: we also guide foreign companies entering the Israeli market, so the manufacturers, distributors and integrators who come to us on the way in are exactly the kind of parties you need on the way out. That network is built in both directions and strengthens with every project.
Where this meets the Israel Export Institute
The Israel Export Institute has operated since 1958 and does important work: international exhibitions, delegations, business meetings and connections to agents and distributors. We do not replace it and we do not compete with it. The gap we close is a different one. A delegation and an exhibition open the door to the room, but they do not determine how you sound once you are inside, or what someone finds when they check you afterwards at their desk. That is exactly the part we work on.
How it works
- 1. Diagnosis. Which markets you are targeting, and what currently exists about you in English when someone looks you up.
- 2. Positioning and narrative. How the story should be told for each target market, including what to do with the Israeli background.
- 3. Visibility and introductions. Making sure someone searching for you in English finds an accurate picture, and connecting you to the relevant parties in our network.
Who it is for
Israeli drone and hardware manufacturers, software, data and AI companies, and service operators looking to grow beyond the local market. It suits companies raising capital abroad especially well, because a foreign investor checks you in English long before they ever meet you.
