How a drone saves pesticides and water

A tractor or crop-duster sprays an entire field uniformly, even where it is not needed. An agricultural drone, combined with prior mapping, sprays only the areas that truly require treatment, at a precise dose per zone. The result is less chemical, less water, less soil load and a direct cost saving, plus spraying even on steep or muddy plots that heavy machinery struggles to reach.

What multispectral mapping reveals

A multispectral camera captures wavelengths the eye cannot see and produces an NDVI map, a vegetation-health index. The map exposes zones of stress, disease or irrigation shortage long before they are visible to the eye, enabling targeted early intervention. Instead of discovering a problem once the crop is already damaged, the grower spots it in time and treats only where needed.

Capabilities and deliverables

  • Precision spraying by variable-rate application map
  • NDVI mapping to identify stress and disease zones
  • Thermal imaging for irrigation and soil-moisture monitoring
  • Plant counting and germination-density estimation
  • Access to steep and muddy plots that are hard to reach
  • Digital field report for every flight

Regulatory and airspace coordination

Every flight is coordinated in advance with flight intelligence and the CAA, including NOTAM issuance and security clearance in restricted areas. The operators in the network handle all the bureaucracy, so the project starts on time and fully approved.

Frequently asked questions

Every company and pilot in the network is verified for a valid pilot license and aerial operator permit with the CAA, plus an active third-party insurance policy. We won't connect you to an unlicensed or uninsured party, which is exactly the point of the marketplace: to screen on your behalf.
